The BIM Water Stewardship Support Programme has been developed in partnership with Water Stewardship Ireland and 20FIFTY Partners. The programme aims to provide seafood processing sites with a structured approach to managing water on site, as well as support at each step as they progress on their journey to better water stewardship.
The programme is anchored on the “Five Steps to Better Water Stewardship”, a framework that provides an actionable approach to rolling out water stewardship across all sites.
The aim of the programme is to reduce water usage, achieve cost savings, identify & repair potential leaks on site. The programme is accepted under Bord Bia’s Origin Green Scheme. Its delivered online through a combination of live webinars, eLearning modules and one-to-one mentoring. Participating firms will receive access to case study material and guidance specific to the seafood processing industry and peer to peer learning opportunities.Find out more
